Early Christmas photo shoot

Jun Camba decided to have an early photo shoot for all departments for Christmas. He seems really excited for Christmas to come and started taking pictures as early as October. Anyway, he is going to use them for a poster or tarpauline comes our Christmas party. We were the first group he took pictures of, too bad since we only had few props. Others had Christmas hats and gifts (just box and wrapper, no real gift inside...hehehe) we only had the colorful parols (lanterns) and of course our happy faces!!!

So this one is of Sonia. Does she look like she's selling parol??? Hehehe. Whatever, doesn't she look nice and happy with those lanterns?

And here's one with Helen and Klodet. Helen insisted that the two of them had a picture together since this was going to be the last since Klodz decided to try her luck in Singapore. Hope things are going well in Singapore Klodet!

Ahhh... some pretty pose from Karen (center) the official model of Jun with her sidekicks... Hala sidekicks daw o... baka magalit si Mitch at Klodet dyan. Anyway, Karen had lots of other solo poses but baka magselos si Jun if I post all her pictures here in the blog. So isa lang for here...

And finally a group shot of the audit department... girls only minus Weng and Malou who were on OB the day of the photo shoot. Notice the different faces???? Konti na lang kaming old timers... but still pretty pa rin naman... hehehe...

Anyway also been so long since I posted. So much changes in the department.... so many new faces too... young faces! Gosh I also miss the original family! Hope all are doing well!

Next in line

I have been hearing a revival of the song on radio lately and it keeps reminding me of the time when several of us decided to have it as our theme song.

Just when was it when we decided to have it as our group song?

Not really that long time ago...

Anyway the video is a bit political and i don't really care much for it (hmmm... i do too in a way) but it does bring good memory of that time several of us sung it together standing side by side cramped in that small videoke room in Palm resort (tama ba?)... feeling that we belong :-)

Reason Season Lifetime

I haven't updated the blog in a long long time but since Rudi has formed a yahoo group, thought I'd post some thoughts again.

Well this one is not really all original thought but a poem I got from the 'net...

Here goes the poem...

Reason Season Lifetime

When someone is in your life for a REASON,
it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty,
to provide you with guidance and support,
to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrongdoing on your part
or at an inconvenient time,
this person will say or do something
to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met,
our desire fulfilled, their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered
and now it is time to move on.

because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.

The poem says that people come into our life either for a reason, a season or a lifetime. Some of the auditors stayed a short while here and immediately moved on... others seem to be here FOREVER already (yikes that includes me!!!). We have interacted differently with each one and shared different degrees of connectiveness but nevertheless we know that we all belong to our audit family.

We may be here or on field or in some other part of the country or the earth (maybe someday, even in another part of the galaxy??? :-)) but somehow a tiny part of us would always make a footstep to go back and be with a joyful family! :-)

Typing when you are hungry

I was proofreading one of the reports typed by Weng. I came across one phrase which says "DISH ONE AREA claims from security agency..." What's this? I was the one who reviewed the report and i knew i inserted some text there... but definitely not that text... so i checked the draft and lo and behold... dish one area is not really a dish, the phrase actually read "DISHONORED CLAIMS from security agency".

I guess Weng was hungry when she was typing the report... or maybe i should already improve on my handwriting??? This typing on my keyboard has really made my handwriting bad... my hands are becoming lazy with the pen!

Hmmm.. i think i should have some hand spa for a change... maybe a foot spa too.. and a complete body spa??? Now if i just have some SPAre money...

Updates on Del

Updates on Delia...
Del and Mon and their kids have been in Washington DC for quite a while. Busy with so many things, however, recently they had a family vacation and went to California and Nevada. So am posting some of their pictures para mainggit muna tayo!!!

Actually he is as tall as I am but I am just at the back kaya he looks taller than me. i was not really coming near him but I also had a chance to be beside him so that i kissed him na rin! hehehe.. sabi ko nga join the crowd. What's funny was that later that afternoon Nestor came to our department and showed us a picture maybe more than 10 years probably 15 years ago.. sabi nya he found it... and what was the picture about? It shows me kissing him on the cheek during our kris kringle since he was my monito... hehehe... naku galit si Belen nyan!!!

Oh nakaalis na si robin... si Gerald na ang sikat ngayon! O di ba cute din sya? Take note dito lang may kuha si Jane yung sa iba di na pinapost baka magselos si enteng.. hehehe!

Holiday!!!

Work was stopped this afternoon!

Why?

Because Robin Padilla visited the office for contract signing!

Grabe nagkagulo ang mga tao!

Pagpasok pa lang sa office Jane was there to take a look also. She said "Hi Robin" and he smiled... that encouraged her to move forward to shake his hand and he shook her hand too.. and Jane kissed him then positioned her face so he could kiss her also and he did!!! That even gave her more courage... so she embraced him.. hay naku akbay din yung loko... and most people (and there was a lot) were shocked at Jane's guts.

Grabe.. actually inggit sila because Jane kissed Robin na wala pang ibang nakakiss sa kanya...in other words... fresh pa yung skin n'ya (wala pang laway??? yuks!!!!hehehe)

Anyway, I tried to work.. even went to accounting to verify something but as I said... nobody was in the mood to work... all attention was on Robin...

He stayed a while in the conference room and when he went out... hayun... nagkagulo na naman yung mga tao.. even the suppliers and the tenants... even some of the tenant's kids and their nannies were there... so everybody went to the rooftop for some more pictorials... supposed to be by department but uncontrollable... kiss.. picture-taking.. hug... autograph...

I was just watching... okay naman si Robin.. he is tall... he is as tall as I am I guess if he would not slouch...actually I would come near to see how tall he really is since I've seen a lot of action stars before and they were NOT really that tall but he is tall...

And o sige na nga.. in the end bumigay na rin ako... naki-kiss na rin ako... kasi I am sure my teenage nieces will ask me.. so at least i have something to tell them...

okay the holiday is over... maybe I'll post some of his picture next time (alam ko crush 'to ni Vicky eh.. kasi astig!!! so now back to work!!!

Laughter...

Laughter is good!

I found this nice picture and decided to post.
We all need laughter in our lives!
Unlike other companies especially outside the Philippines, laughter is not common in the work place. In audit it is pretty common. Jane has the best sounding laughter in audit and if Jing from Treasury visit.. then you'll hear a laughter that is really contagious!!!

Pressure and stress could really deplete you of laughter but you could easily bring it back if you want to... it is just like exercise... a bit difficult after you've stopped for a long time but if you decide to put it back.. well all it takes is some muscle and sounds... okay a little help from Jane's joke and laughter could make it lots easier!!!
